Join this monthly playdate where boys share their energy and imaginations through team games, 2D/3D art-making, and live-action role play & film-making. Each month, we explore a different genre or theme, most especially action-adventure or science fiction topics.
The "Live-Action Gaming" series is part of a year-long adventure in physical & mental challenges which will result in the creation of original live-action turn-taking and team games. Program includes an AWESOME 2-week summer day camp, beginning July 2, 2012. Details HERE. ["Time Machine" is the theme of alternating months and subsequent summer day camp, beginning July 16.]
SOCIAL OUTLETS for MEDIA INPUTS
Active Imagination offers boys an interactive opportunity to metabolize the hero mythology and narratives they receive through friends/family, books, television/videos, gaming and on-line. Activities are designed to have all the excitement of action-adventure movies or video games combined with the wholesomeness of a facilitated, real-life play group.
